There are many values a student can learn from basketball. Teamwork is the most important value one can learn through this sport. Basketball is a team sport; every member of the team has a role to play that can aid the team into winning.

Basketball has the potential to be more than just a game for those who play it. It

has the capacity to teach life lessons. The purpose of the basketball club is to help students learn these values, as well as catering and developing the skills for those interested in the sport.

The club moderators, Sir Bobby Maluya and Sir Adriano Niez, have the experience of playing the sport, so they are able to teach the club members the basics of basketball as well as some advanced skills.
