Sto. Nino Mactan Montessori School, Inc.
Sto. Niño Mactan Montessori School, Inc. came to be in 2009, thanks to the heart-warming desire of Mr. Charles U. Lim and Mrs. Sunshine B. Lim to provide quality education to young learners.

As SNMMSI, saw its first light in 2009, the school offered pre-school as its flagship with 30 students and 4 teachers. The next school year, the school was granted Government permit for the Kindergarten. By then, the school has already accumulated 161 students and 8 teachers.

Following the successes of its pioneering years, SNMMSI continued to strive more and earned operational permits for elementary, junior high school, and senior high school in 2012, 2014, and 2015, respectively.
​
As of 2018, the school now houses over 380 students and over 30 teachers. From its humble beginnings, the school has since grown and is continuously aiming to provide better education for all.

TO CHERISH the study of the Christian faith and religion so that the child may become aware of his/her origin, mission and destiny as a person.

TO HONE THE SKILLS the child in the areas of communication in oral and written. Mathematics, Science and the Performing Arts so that he/she will be confident in expressing his ideas and interaction with others

TO INSTILL Christian Virtues and Filipino values so that he/she may possess the basic understanding of what it means to be a family member, what it takes to sustain the Filipino values and what it behooves to attain and live Christian virtues and values

TO LEAD the child to value the beauty of the environment and act to preserve, nurture and share the love of God's creation.

TO DEVELOP the child to face advancement in Science and Technology.
Bidlisiw, a noun, is a Cebuano-Visayan term which means "ray of the sun." In a literal meaning a usual day starts with the rising of the sun with its beams. As the darkness of the dawn ends, a sun ray means a new beginning, a fresh start. In a figurative meaning, Bidlisiw or sun ray means a new start of something--- the end of darkness and the start of a fresh threshold. Somehow, it gives hopes to hopeless labor.
As the official publication of SNMMSI, Bidlisiw serves as a remembrance and hope for every student, parent, teacher, and administrative staff that despite the hardships that they have experienced throughout the year, there are good memories that exist that makes life at school better and more beautiful.
About Bidlisiw
Sto. Niño Mactan Montessori School, Inc. shall commit itself to the development of the child towards this end. Sto. Niño Mactan Montessori School shall provide the child with education that is both Christian and Filipino. Christian so that the child will become a person of others; Filipino so that she will grow with desirable values, in particular and upholding of Filipino family values. Moreover, the learning center shall work towards the nurturing of a child's awareness and concern for the environment, the sharpening of his/her skills in Communication, Mathematics and Cultural as well as in the Technological Science.
